HMA Training Courses

From 2024, the HMA will organize one- and two-day courses on different topics. The courses will target different target groups: current or former students, doctors, senior healthcare managers, the private healthcare sector, AI, and cybersecurity professionals.

The first course was held by Prof Dr Gyula Bakacsi, a Professor at the Department of Management, Budapest University of Economics and Business, and a member of the Doctoral School of Business and Management, and it was very successful. The accredited training, with interactive elements, focused on Harvard-based negotiation techniques.

The next course will focus on cross-border cooperation and the links between the social and healthcare systems. The training aims to help healthcare providers navigate their joint responsibilities with the social care system. The accredited training focuses on the intersectoral cooperation issues between the two care systems regarding tasks, competencies, and responsibilities. We will look at how to organize more efficient patient pathways and how to achieve better outcomes in the areas of prevention, compliance, adherence, health maintenance and recovery, crisis, and crisis management.
