On April 25, 2024, at the 22nd IME Data-Driven Healthcare and Cybersecurity Conference, our Director, Dr. Miklós Szócska, opened the final of the Spring HACK4CURE Hackathon in the ‘Health for All’ category. Dr. Gergely Mikesy, the main organizer of the idea competition, moderated the 3-3 minute pitches of the top 3 teams, in which the finalists presented their finalized ideas with the invaluable guidance of their mentors. This event was a testament to the power of collaboration and shared vision in driving innovation in healthcare.
The final results of the “Health for All” Hackathon were announced based on the votes of the jury and the audience of the conference participants:
- It can be better! team
- InnovAID team
- Polyp team
The winning team’s idea was to develop the HealthWindow app further by implementing different courses to promote healthy lifestyles. The InnovAid team developed a system to monitor pharmacy stocks, allowing patients to track where to get their prescription medication in the HealthAblak app. The Polyp team created a virtual assistant to help patients know where to get help based on their symptoms.
Congratulations to all winners and participants!
