At the end of the two-day idea competition in April 2024, we listened to 11 entries on the topic “Green Hospital.” The jury forwarded six ideas to the final on May 10, which took place at the congress of the Hungarian Hospital Association (MKSZ).
The winner was the “RANDOM” team made up of Dóra Ürge, Erzsébet Ábrám, Sára-Viola Fülöp, and Boldizsár Csernai, who won the Hack4Cure Hackathon in the “Green Hospital” category with their circular hospital idea. The award was presented by Dr. Péter Gaál, university professor and president of HMA. Intelligent Transport Solution took second place, the CyberCareCrew team came third, and the Spartan team won the special award based on the jury’s decision.
Congratulations to the winners and all entrants; we wish the RANDOM team good luck in the future! The first-placed team was invited to Brussels for an innovation study trip at the offer of Péter Gebhardt, the Chief Health Representative of the Hungarian Development Promotion Office.
We would also like to thank MKSZ and György Velkey for hosting the Hackathon final, as well as the support of Mölnlycke and Szabolcs Pálinkás for offering the main prize and the special prize!
