IME Infection Control and Patient Safety Conference

September 18-19, 2023

This year, the IME Infection Control and Patient Safety conference will be held on September 18 and 19 at the Radisson Blu Béke Hotel in Budapest, jointly with the WHO World Patient Safety Day conference.

Conference program and registration

In 2023, the WHO designated patient and family involvement as the central theme of World Day.

Thus, our topics include:

• practice and experiences of patient education
• involving patients and relatives in making decisions about care
• the role of patients and relatives in the care process
• digital solutions to involve patients and relatives

Thanks to the support of the WHO, the first day’s program is free.

From the program of the 2nd conference day:

• infection control good practices
• telemedicine solutions
• artificial feeding
• medication application
• management of other patient safety risks

The two-day event was jointly organized by the NEVES Association, the WHO Hungarian Office, the Health Services Management Training Centre, the Hungarian Healthcare Management Association, and IME.
